HUNTING TALE
Elusive. Alert. Breathtaking.
As sensitive to their surroundings as a lightning rod, there are few moments in hunting as thrilling as closing in on a trophy Kudu – the prince of Africa. Known to freeze when they are hidden you may drive right past a kudu bull just 15 yards away and not see him. Keen eyesight, incredible hearing and sense of smell, they are not called the Grey Ghosts for nothing especially when referring to a handsome fully mature bull!

COME HUNTING
Experience the finest Kudu hunting in Africa.
Bambisana Limpopo is our premier destination for Kudu and hunters can expect to see many mature bulls before squeezing the trigger. This said, Kudu hunting is always challenging and taking a big old bull is no easy feat. We also hunt Kudu in the Kalahari on a very limited basis, as well as Botswana and other areas in South Africa. Ideal Caliber’s are 7MM Rem mag, 30-06, 300 Win mag and other similar Caliber’s. Shots can be long so hunters must be prepared for this. 180grain rounds are preferable.
Kudu Trophies
Distribution
Greater Kudu are at home in the dense bush of mountain foothills or in mixed scrubland where there is some protection from predators, and proliferate in the Northern and North-western provinces of South Africa. The lesser Kudu prefers a flatter, drier, environment and are mainly found in parts of East Africa such as Uganda and Tanzania.
